As many readers know I have joined up with one of the most popular food exchange programs in the blogosphere and am ready to post about another month of treats. If you’re interested in getting in on the fun, visit Lindsay of The Lean Green Bean and all the details of Foodie Penpals.
I was paired with Nicole of Nicole On A Mission to send treats. Please pop over to her blog to read about what I sent. I was a little tardy getting it to her and I’m still so sorry for the delay, but hopefully all the homemade treats made up for it?
MY treats were sent by Tamiera of The Life For Less, and she sent some unique and thoughtful items.
- The World Market soda was awesome, a strange, but yummy combination of various tropical infusions. Normally I’m not a soda drinker, so this was a treat, something I wouldn’t buy for myself.
- My gopicnic I have no broken into yet, but given it’s a healthy snack I will appreciate it in the immediate future while I navigate my 10-weeks of diet and exercise under lock and key.
- The colander was my favorite item probably. As I live alone I often hate breaking out my giant version for small meals. This will come in quite handy for mini meals and snacks, as will the bowls for setting aside ingredients as I create.
- The butterfly cookie cutter is super cute and I plan to use it this spring, along with the containers, which I have nothing in mind for at the moment, but I’m sure when I need them I’ll be glad they’re there!
It was nice getting items that were not all food, they last longer and I can use them in more ways. Since I’m building my arsenal in the kitchen they were all great additions.
Now I ask again, do you want in on it next month? Well, here is the formal 411:
